So you've read the main page and you want to enhance Lewort. This is good. Thank you.
Please read the whole document before applying to the program.

Why do I choose this distribution model ?

First, I've spent hours, days, weeks and months on this software. By choosing this way of distribution, I'm dividing the targets consumers in two category. If you want a end-product, you pay for it, it is like any other software. Now, if you're want to improve the software and you work on it, you'll get for free.

Of course, it's difficult to trust anyone claiming it will do wonder as long as you give her/him the software for free. If the software were a unique mono block application, it would be impossible to apply such model. Because Lewort is based on plugins for almost anything, I can release the plugin API (and some example source code) without never releasing Lewort's source.

How will be the development ?

So the development model will be in three steps:
  1. If the developer has an idea, she/he opens an account below describing her/his idea for my review (without an idea, the developer can pick up a task in the developer section if she/he wants)
  2. If the review is positive, I send her/him the API for the plugin model that should best match her/his needs
  3. When the developer send me a (working) version of her/his code, I discuss with her/him about possible distribution of her/his work (possible reward/grant/funding etc...), and send her/him a full version of Lewort (with an unlimited support and upgrading). If the developer doesn't release source code for the plugin, there will be no funding as maintaining such plugin through evolving version will be impossible and the plugin will become useless (hence doesn't justify a funding anymore).

I'm developing under Embedded Visual C++ 3.0 on a PocketPC 2002 platform. I'm confident that anything under PocketPC 2002 will work on next version. Anyway, the developer can work on any version she/he wants, as long as the code works on platform from PPC 2002 up to WM5.0.

I'm ready, I want to apply

Okay, so you can fill this form, and I will try to make my best to answer you in the next days.
